WhatWentWhere

Describe your idea. How does it work and who does it help?

we are surrounded by public service spending, vast swathes of it effectively invisible. yet we could show people where and how their tax money goes by linking government accounts to the locations it is spent in.

Imagine walking down a street and able to see the cost of rubbish collections, highways maintenance, lighting and police. Just to walk past a government office would tell a person with a pda how much went on rent, upkeep, salaries.

What information or services do you need?

government accounts
mapping data
