Drive a green machine

Submitted by: Supertzar Fuels

Describe your idea. How does it work and who does it help?

The basic idea is to provide an example of how much a UK city to city journey would cost driving a car which uses bioethanol or biodiesel. This would increase public and commercial interest at a time when rising energy costs are leading to people looking at alternative fuels.

What information or services do you need?

Information source would include Yahoo currency api, Google Maps, DEFRA Passenger transport emissions factors and Transport Direct journey planner API, and a reliable source of car data such as provided by WhatGreenCar.
