When will i get ill?

Submitted by: Darren Horrocks

Describe your idea. How does it work and who does it help?

the system will be a website where a user will input their age, and their location (along with any other data the service might wish to collect). and it will use the current date to check a database and list the most common illnesses and injuries within your area around that time period (possibly 3 - 4 weeks forward and back from today). this could also list symtoms of the illnesses that are listed. this could potentially help people find out what illness they may have, or be getting and help doctors to better prepare for the upcoming spells of certain illnesses.

What information or services do you need?

the services i would need would be statistics from the NHS, involving (anonomous) statistics of illnesses treated at GP's and hospitals along with the locations of the hospitals.
this would generaly be the anononised computer based versions of medical records or similar data.
