Look up which employers welcome older people, which offer part time work.
Find out what benefits and entitlements you have and how to apply for them.

Want to go on a day trip, what's on offer?
Need a plumber, joiner or handiperson?
Parent needs some help or care, what are the local options?
Got a problem, if you can't find an answer on this site, who else is there to help?

Oldham has a slightly similar sounding website, albeit less interactive than the suggestion here. I suspect though that for all its simplicity, it is more effective than a lot of technologically complex sites.
